One family · One boat · One kitchen
The shortest supply chain in Jersey
Everything we catch is served here
At Driftwood there is no chain: the boat, the counter and the kitchen are the same business, run by the same family.
We have a core menu and a regularly updating specials board.
01
Landed by morning
Our boat works the waters east to west of the Island and lands its catch by morning.
02
Prepped by hand
What the kitchen needs is filleted, dressed and picked at our own counter, hours after it came out of the water.
03
Served that day
The day's catch goes up as specials, so what you eat there is genuinely what came in that day.
What's on
Specials written by the sea and the land
Alongside the regular menu, the specials board follows the season: Jersey lobster and chancre crab through the summer, hand-dived scallops when the water turns, Jersey bass and turbot, and oysters shucked to order.
And it's not all seafood. The kitchen builds the rest of the menu around local farm-grown produce, with plenty of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options.
The full menu, opening times and bookings live on the Driftwood site.
Eat where it lands
You can buy it at our counter, or let the Driftwood chefs cook it for you.
Whether you take it home from the counter or order it at Driftwood, it's the same fish from the same boat, landed the same day.
